Pantheism
Pantheism is the belief that everything in the universe is God, including solar systems, planets, people, plants, and things we do not see or even know about. Pantheists do not believe in a personal god, like Christians and Muslims do. They do not believe that God created the universe, but that the universe, through higher consciousness, created all that is. The word “Pantheist” derives from the Greek words, “pan” and “theos”, meaning “all” and “god” respectively.

Shipley Do-Nuts is located just north of East Nashville on Gallatin Pk. If you are ever driving though, take a quick stop in for the freshest donuts and coffee around (the coffee is delicious and the donuts are assorted!). This is an exceptionally great place to read the Sunday Tennessean.
Also, for those of you familiar with Geocaching, there is a wonderful surprise here for you. Truly a treasure.

Inspiration and Influences: Defeater, Down to Nothing, Blink-182.
Our favorite venues include The Muse, Rocketown, Little Hamilton, and The End. Favorite meal? Nachos. ‘Nuff said. To us, Nashville is all about the family.
“We all met in middle school, still suckin’ on mama’s titty. 3 out of 5 of us have had previous bands, our vocalist Austin Tice was in the metalcore band The Last Freefall, our Bassist Keith, was in the Deathcore band Upon Artocity, and our drummer Christian was in the punk band, A Royal Skyline. This is Mackie’s and Cason’s first band. We are a family, always have been, always will be. We love our friends, and we treat people with respect if its mutual. We love the music we play and love to have fun.”

Wednesday Feb 1 @ 05:12pmThe hidden woman in the little world. It’s hard to see her.
I drew this last year when I needed a use for this frame. She turned out lovely with some great sketch scratches.

I drew this lovely octopus lady for a Threadless contest, but sadly, nothing came of it. this is the original drawing, directly from my sketch book tediously, lacquered onto a vintage serving tray-turned frame. The background is a very light sage color, against an eggshell wall.

I found this lovely piece at a mom n’ pop antique store in the middle of the Tennessee badlands on a road trip last year. The cushion is a crushed velvet in a fine camel color and the back and base of the chair are gold metal. The best part? It swivels! Great Condition. Very durable.

This amazing blue sewing machine is a Montgomery Ward make from 1954, Japanese Edition. It’s in great working condition and i have made some of my best pieces on this machine. Due to its age, it should be oiled frequently.
I refurbished the table portion. When I bought it from a swanky Nashville thrift store, the table was junk. It’s now sanded and painted a dark grey and has new black pulls. The machine itself is a blue and grey metal and very durable.
The cord is a 2-prong and it’s rather short. You may want to pick up a small extension cord for this piece, or I can throw one in for $3.

I was supposed to be grocery shopping, but instead ended up spending the day in bed with a headache. I don’t think staring at Adobe Photoshop for 5 hours helps either. At least I came out of it with a poster.
I made this for the Untitled Artist Group poster contest, for their spring 2012 show. To submit your own posters, click here. The venue is still unknown, but I will be sure to update as soon as I am informed. Hope to see you there!
